- DD Mittal Towers at Multania Road Bathinda is a perfect example of National Integration where over 350 families from different states and different parts of India are residing happily. The residents of the colony collectively celebrated 550th Gurpurav of Shri Guru Nanak Dev Ji this Sunday on 18 Nov 2018 with great pump and show and devotion. The theme of the Gurupurav was “Nanak Naam Chardi Kala; Tere Bhane Sarbat Ka Bhala” and “Manas ki Jaat Sabhe Eko Pehchanbo” and to spread the teachings of Guru Nanak.
- The program started on 16th Nov with commencement of Akhand Path of Shri Guru Granth Sahib Ji which continued for three days. Every evening a soulful kirtan of Gurbani with tea langar was organized in the central lawn of DD Mittal Towers which was attended by large number of residents of the colony. The Bhog of Shri Akhand Path took place on 18 Nov 2018 followed by mega kirtan darbar at central lawn followed by Guru ka Langar. The 3 hour celebration included kirtan by Raagi Jathas and Kavishri by Dadi Jathas and Gurbani Vichar by Col Jagir Singh Chaudhary followed by Ardas and Parsaad Distribution. Thereafter, Guru Ka Langar was distributed with great devotion and chanting of Gurbani. It was a wonderful and spiritual atmosphere where people from all walks of life, gents, ladies and children participated in organizing the Gurupurav and executing the various religious activities of the ceremony.
